Makes me want to dig the games out and play it again. Not thrilled about having to start from the beginning though. It is a fun game to play. Unique and interesting and very different. This is a fun read.

I am so irritated. I just decided to fire up Medieval and cannot play it due to a securom error! I never had a problem in the past and now cannot start the game. I have my hard copies of M and P&N that were fine in the past. Sent a support email to securom to see what in the heck is going on.

I am glad you are up and running. I sure am not.

I don't even understand what SecrRom is? Are you playing Medieval on Steam or using your hard disc? Are you playing in on the same PC as before?

I have hard copies and am on the same PC so they have changed something. I have read of people that have tried to go back to playing 2 and are having the same problem. I hope I can get it working again.

This is an enjoyable read. I've tried to get my Medieval games to play but there doesn't seem to be a solution and I'm not the only one who's upset. There is a compatibility issue with Windows 8 but other computers are having problems resurrecting the game also. I have to question the reasons for a game company not updating their games to play with the latest computer updates. ? The game isn't That old!

It was released March 2011 and did not do as well as expected. Many were disappointed that it was not just The Sims 3 in Medieval times. The lack of popularity was enough to make them not want to update the game.

I understand their view but that's doesn't make me feel better about not being able to play the game. maybe if it were supported it would be more popular. It was( is) very clever.
