Stones Throw Greenhouse is released.

Props to EA for having, you know, normal clothing. I'm still not getting it though. I must save my remaining simpoints for Monte Vista.

scratch Roughly $12? More gameplay. Cool roofing pieces. Some clothing I could see clan members wearing... scratch

Meh.. Will have to give it a little more thought.

I'm sitting here going "Hmmmmm.." My credit card is saying "Go for it! I ain't broke yet."

Yes I have an evil credit card that is constantly talking me in to buying stuff. Suspect

Apparently there is a problem with the greenhouse having snow go through the roof? I guess you could hold off on it until they fix the issue.

DOH! Fortunately, there is a super simple work around for that Clear floor tiles. (Gotta get the ones that let the light through tho) Wink

Just place under the leaky greenhouse pieces until EA corrects the problem.

Apparently that roof is considered/described as a roof sculpture.. therefore it's not a roof and so technically there's really no roof to speak of in the greenhouse. So until EA changes those roof sculptures to a real glass roof, everything inside that greenhouse is open to the weather/seasons.

Monte Vista is coming as a code-in-the-box like BB and HS. That gives me hope Monte Vista will be about 20 dollars?

Oh yeah, it would be nice if someone posted screenshots of all the clothes that come with the greenhouse if SimsVIP doesn't do it.

One of the members over at the TS3 forums posted the link in the greenhouse discussion thread.
My credit card has almost convinced me to buy this. (Has cool stuffs with it) LoL. And... I wanted an easy way to fix it so it wouldn't irritate me. LOL!

SO, once my card is done twisting my arm, I will be able to enjoy building with the greenhouse roofing pieces without the weather affecting what's inside.

Even once EA outs us a fix, the glass tiles will have further uses. Whistle

I used to use glass tiles for skylights quite often in 2 so will use them a lot too. Thanks for the link, and thanks, Inge!

Only downside to keeping the snow out using the clear tiles?

Area is now considered inside. Gotta turn on MOO for your sim to plant anything.

Of course you could do all potted plants. scratch I wonder if the sprinklers water potted plants. scratch

I'm in and out of MOO so often I'll just turni it back on when I want someone to plant in the greenhouse.

I like what you have done. I also can see adding a great conservatory onto some mansion.

Nope. And those folks without supernatural, won't have the pots.

Now, I did toss in some pots and had Camilla plant some stuff in them.
Put some veggies in the composter and told her to use it.

Sprinklers came on, and the potted plants got fertilized.
Sooo. It looks like we can clear tile the ceiling. Bit of a chore as the tiles are a carpet piece and placed one square at a time. (Extra cup of coffee to the dev who gave us the hold shift to place lots of the same object) LoL Means with these "carpets" we first have to tile the roof with something else before placing them.

Worth the effort if one wishes to play in the winter.

Potted plants also allow for flooring thus ridding our gardening sim of the dreaded unfinished room moodlet.

One planter came with the conservatory. It's bright orange or something, so even those without Supernatural will be able to use them.

Winterizing the Stones Throw Greenhouse Problem from Crinrict's Help Blog

Of course, I used the link provided and guess who was there...Liam, naturally. "Trouble Page", well EA is consistent.

I got the green house built last evening and just added the flat roof tile, trimmed to half to fit the protruding corner of the lower walls. I never knew there was a glass ceiling tile. Surprised I used the flat roof tile. Odd that the roof has rounded edges, pretty shape but doesn't work on a square corner. Maybe the end roof pieces are suppose to overhang the wall? Tried that but didn't like the look. I had problem planting in the finished greenhouse. Thought I had MOO on but must not have. The unfinished room moodlet probably comes from not painting the walls the windows are on.

Thank's EQ. I am so out of my element on this one. Not sure I understood what he was doing though. When I have more time to fool with it I'll try to replicate what he did.

So far only 3rd party glass/clear tile.
I am going to see later tonight how many tiles need to be used to keep out snow.
I think the post meant as long as the room was open to outdoors it would not be considered inside and no unfinished room mood etc.
