The grill looks really fun as well as some other items I see in the pics. Smile EA is mixing up Chinese and Japanese a bit but that is OK.

Further down the page see the updated fog emitter codes info. Smile

And .... the video is really cool!

I am sure I will watch that video a few times, even though I cannot understand German.

Quxxn has made a test of this kitchen. It does NOT spawn NPC's on a community lot!! What !! Such a great set and I can only use it in a house?

I haven't checked it out yet, but..
Can a sim use it when it's on a community lot?
Or is it crippled like all the other "stoves" in the game?

Even without an employee, It would be kinda cool to see the random townie out whipping something up.

Yes, it can be used on a community lot. That is where I placed the set for my test. And yes, it works like a stove in that our sims use it and not NPCs. A townie did not come in during my test, but they should be able to use on a community lot. And one sim cannot request something from another who is the chef.

Yea well, I've heard about restaurants where you make your own food, but I'm too lazy for that. I did get the impression both guests and your own sim would go and make food on the stove, but that doesn't make it a restaurant for me. It does not make it worth the money so to speak.

I am going to put a food register on the lot when I do the fake restaurant for Spider. I think/hope that will draw in more sims and I can pretend perhaps that you go in and pay for a meal and then get it to make it yourself. I hope that townies do wander in and use it also. I do miss the working hotels and restaurants we had in 2 and hope we get them again before this series ends.

Smile

Oh yes, open for business was great. I managed to get a car sales to max I remember.

... and I'm about to change my mind on this set. Don't know if I will be able to use it much. I see Matrix54 made a restaurant with it. Adorable lot. I'm working hard to resist Alien Greetings

It's in MTS feedback forum, only downloadable for feedback. He's a very busy builder though, may take some time before it's downloadable.

I just downloaded the restaurant from EA and Matrix restaurant.

Matrix restaurant would not install. Today I was trying to install a house made by someone on youtube. It was suppose to be CC free. It wouldn't install the BahHaus windows, so I went searching for solutions. Took out BC and DCC folder uninstalled lots and installed lots. Installed Twallan's Storyprogression and Mastercontroller.

I had to give up that. Then I went on to trying the Japanese Sushi kitchen on a new lot. That didn't work, the wood oven didn't work, or the regular oven belonging to the mediterrainean kitchen from the store.

My family now has to eat out or just eat serials for breakfast.

The Japanese kitchen is suppose to have more options than just tricks on the first level right?

The conflicts with the wood oven and Japanese grill were "supposed" to have been sorted with the last store item update we got.

BahHaus windows are a store item.

Yes I know. I had it installed, and the house was made with them, but the game replaced them with some cottage windows. Wasn't that bad actually, kind of cute Laughing

I didn't read anything related to items I had on their site, but they don't list all they do probably.
