Tutorial: Replacing Existing Roads in Caw

You can change the default road to dirt, without removing any road bits, but it's a bit more advanced and requires s3pe, which is a 3rd party program. Here's the tut.

This is how I replace the default road with a custom road. I plop down the road bits alongside the existing roads. I then moved & deleted one section at a time, and replaced it with the new road.

Here are some tips to know while you are doing this.

If you connect the new bit to the old bit, the new bit will automatically move it's orientation to match the bit you are connecting it to. The existing bit won't move.

Note the length of the arms of the old bit, and adjust the one you are going to replace it with first, before snapping it on.

Use the shift key in conjunction with the move arrows to detach the road bits.

Here's some pics.
