I can never finish ANYTHING I start out to accomplish in the game. Legacys = fail. ISBI = fail. Rags-to-Riches = fail. 50 Foal Challenge = fail.

Please tell me I'm not alone? LOL

I've been playing my legacy since the game came out and I've still not finished it.

Oh Rawla, I have never finished a legacy. Didn't finish Rags to Riches. Have started, but never finished countless worlds. To top it off, I didn't even finish the first Sims 3 Amazing Race, even though I was in the lead. So no, you are not alone.

I'll have a café, mocha, vodka, valium latte to go please!

Finish? Remember who you're talkin to here..

I'm still playing my first ever created sim. ROFL

Never been allowed to retire. Only been allowed to actually die once.

I sure hope all his ex's never come looking for child support. He could never write enough to cover the checks he'd have to stroke.

I have only completed MW's Hetty challenge....but it is really not a legacy.....so I don't know if that counts. Smile Between bad patches/glitches and RL it is difficult to stick to anything for long Whistle

Finish? No - never finished anything on the Sims - even most of my builds never get finished! But I have fun and that's what it's supposed to be about.

Er, let's see I mostly finished an asylum challenge in the Sims 2... and that is about it.

Challenges and whatnot are entertaining, as they add a more "structured" play, but one of the main reasons I like to play the Sims is the lack of structure. I'm such a play as I go and just have fun kinda guy. I like to build and create worlds and just fiddle around. And while I have made and shared a bit of one story, it's not for me most of the time, and I usually have no desire to tackle something along the lines of a legacy. I do, however, love to read about other people's stories and challenges!

I get the feeling that's what Sims (or life?) is about, trying.
What would you do if you finish? You think that gives you satisfaction?
I'm not sure.
People I know who are good in finishing, have their eyes on that one goal, never look right or left and the satisfaction doesn't hold for long. They usually start the next thing right away.

I haven't finished anything in Sims, no legacy's, no stories. I had a series of builds I did in Sim2; they were supposed to represent the zodiac signs. I uploaded nine, the tenth I finished, but it never made it out of my machine.

I still have to work on my rooms for the minimalist style on this forum ... yeah, - happy simming all!

My father used to sing a lot in choirs and performing in musicals. My grandfather spent his spare time making a working scale model of a traction engine, right down to the smallest detail - I believe he even made the nails for it himself. One day my father asked him what he was going to do with it when he had finished it and his reply was " I don't know, what do you do with a song when you've sung it?" I think that just about sums it up, the pleasure is in the journey of creating, it's not about the finished result.

I think of myself as a Sara Winchester who never stopped building her house. I seem to never quite finish things way too often. Dollhouses. Clothes for dolls that still need a snap. A real house that needs a zillion projects. Sorting all my sims notes! Laughing

I have at least 6 worlds in progress in CAW and so many unfinished lots in hoods. And I hate to say it but whenI finally finish a CAW world I am almost tired of looking at it ..... after all that work! eeek

I CAN say though that except for something like doing the Hobos or playing Edith for hunts, I only play my legacy family .... and generation T is now a toddler .... so let me count fingers, she is generation 20 if I did that right.

Cool

Taylor and the kitten they just adopted from the Hobo family! Smile

ROFL I don't even try to do a legacy anymore. By the 3rd generation at latest with any family I play, the game starts acting up and is no longer fun to play. That also ruins my stories for sequels. VikgAxMad
I avoid long challenges. eeek Suspect Doesn't mean I don't get tempted.....
