Please be aware of a potential problem with account security right now.
Got this message when starting Origin today.
Quote :
Account currently in use.
Sorry but you can only be logged in to one computer at a time.
Click "Ok" to continue in Offline Mode.


What I did instead was to close Origin and restart my computer.
Went to https://www.ea.com/ and changed my password.
Keep your information safe.
This may have either been a simple glitch or an attempt to hack my account.

Edit to add: I had just started my computer and was just opening the game when this happened.
I only have one computer so the game would not have been opened on any other device by me.

My account is set up with the two step verification.
When I log in a code is sent to my cell phone.
That was the other reason this was a shock.

Scary. Not sure what was going on but I got the verify with code and had to go into my e-mail to get the code to sign into Origin. Decided not to accept that choice and canceled it for future sign in's.

You know, I'm a bit confused about that whole account verification thing. I have it set up that way for mine and have had it that way since Jack messaged me a long while ago and said his account had been hacked. But here's the thing...it never does the two step verify thing when I go to log into Origin...ONLY when I go to log into the official forum! hmm

The account verification seems more likely to trigger after I clear my browser of cookies and history.

I've been losing control of my mouse lately. It freezes and won't go anywhere. Get control back after shutting down computer and restarting.
My son wants me to get a Mac but I'm afraid it will mess up my games.

I used a wireless mouse for a while but was forever replacing the batteries. My wired USB mouse tail (the part between the computer and mouse) seems to always get tangled. Not sure exactly how though. I have to straighten it every time. I just try to be careful so as not to break the wires in the cord.

I have never owned a Mac but hear they are good.
Though if you go to a Mac you would need that version of the Sims to play. Your current saves would not transfer.
