PostSubject: retail garden   Sun Dec 03, 2017 2:44 pm

I put a garden retail lot in my game in Magnolia (?) , the retail world, and when my Sims went there the plants needed tending. If I change the lot to a community lot, will the plants not need attention then?

Also, went to Carl Sims to find out about the bone fish but couldn't discover if Sims could eat them. Was that a 'joke' in Murkland? Seems like it could be.

My Sims' inventory won't stay stationary when I'm looking for something to remove from it. And too often the wrong item is pulled out. This is quite irritating.

Good question on the plants. I really do not know the answer but I assume harvestable plants would need tending anywhere.
The community lot in Windenberg (where the Garden Club meets) has plants that need tending so that may be your answer.

If the Bonefish is in personal inventory it will be used to make a fish dish so yes it is edible. Wink
Inventory ... Suspect   rant
I have learned to pause before trying to move or sell items.
That is the only way I have found to try to avoid selling the wrong thing.

Since my Sim had to buy the bone fish she put it in an aquarium, so there were no cooking interactions. Made sense at the time.

That huge estate in Windenburg has a vegetable garden with some fruit trees. A Sim has to visit a few times to get the plants
mature enough to harvest but taking 'care' never has been an option. I'd forgotten about the Garden Club lot. I'll check out the status of each lot and that will tell me.

As to the 'ever scrolling inventory', I wish 'they'd' fix that. The thing I'm after often slips away before I can open it up. I'm very careful to make sure what I've grabbed is what I wanted to grab.

Thanks for answering, EQ. BigHug
