Here is my little girl Willow. We have been through a few nights together and I've only killed her once! Razz

This game is really fun, and addictive. I've only played it for about an hour and a half.  You have to gather food and supplies then you unlock crafting items and such. The science station is used to make things, which is awesome but what is not awesome is that you can not pick it back up and take it with you....which I did not know.

Here is a link if you want to read or see more.

Official Site

Don't Starve Game Wiki

I did purchase this on Steam It is on sale through April 27th.

Thank you for the encouragement EQ Heart

Here's little poor Willow again. Day three this time in survival (sandbox) mode. We actually made it to day twelve.....and then we were killed by a "treeguard". It's a walking pine tree.  Anyway, you can see our firepit, chest, and science machine. She is sporting her straw hat which protects here from the sun and rain. All the items that you make degrade, for instance, her spiffy hat is now at 24% (starts at 100%). Off to the left there are two traps, one is baited for a mole. There is a big nest of spiders nearby and they have killed us several times. We are hoping the traps will catch some of them during the next attack.....and that we don't die.

We've died 22 times so far and the causes were many. Here is just a few....shenanigans, darkness, killer bees, spiders, starvation,Tallbird, Terrorbeak, freezing, hound, frog and eyeplant. Fun stuff.

To add to the fun, if you die,the save ends....and you leave only with the things you learned. Of course, if you find a "touchstone" your character pops back alive and the things in your inventory fall on the ground and can be picked back up....but everything else is gone...backpack inventory, chests and inventory, science machine....etc.

Look to the upper right and the status of the character is there. Health, Hunger and Sanity....hehehehehehehe....this game is a real trip. Frustrating but fun!

Wolves this time....or is it Hounds?? I guess it really doesn't matter Laughing

I was able to get the second crafting machine made and a few stone walls, a log suit of armor....which wasn't that helpful obviously. Why can't I stop????

Laughing Devil I must win!

I used to play Super Granny. Then one of my granddaughters was visiting and she played it, under my name, and got Granny to such a high level that I couldn't move on to the next level. VikgAxMad
