PostSubject: Continual Shower   Mon Oct 27, 2014 11:24 am

So I kept hearing water running and saw it was a shower. Weird. Suspect

I tried upgrading the faucets. Nope.

I tried moving out and back in with buy mode. I even replaced it with a new one of the same type. I replaced it with a totally different style and the water from the original shower kept running.

Any one else seen this?

I have three clothing mods but I doubt they are the problem.

Thanks for any help.

Just had that happen yesterday when I was playing.
I left it alone and it quit on its own. Not sure but it could have happened when I canceled the shower action before the Sim was done.
Zero mods and Zero CC. I also deleted the scratch files after saving and quitting.

EQ ... where are the "scratch files" and how do I delete them ... deleting the whole folder, or just the contents?

Hello CD9
The Scratch files are temporary files that live in a folder by that name.
The Scratch folder is located in the Saves folder. The safest way to clean these out is to move the contents to another folder. That will allow you to put them back if things go horribly wrong. Once you have tested the game you can safely delete the files.

Thanks so much EQ ... my game had started acting all wonky again, so I was cleaning out caches, etc ... wasn't seeing any difference, until I actually emptied the recycle bin ... I'm gonna check out that "scratch folder" tomorrow! Have a great evening!

I had that once as I recall. I think I had a sim get in and take a shower and it stopped.

Yes, happens to everyone occassionally.
Loadscreen will reset it so just travel to another lot and return home.

I haven't opened my game yet today.

I had that happen to a shower in the BFF House. Too bad I don't remember what happened with it. hmm Since it never made a mess I think I just ignored it.
