So, no one has found out how to trigger writers block?

Simka's came from writing a very long time and doing nothing else.

Learned a little something about those drinks Simka caught while fishing.  I can't remember one name, but it's green (you know that's why I let her drink it).  It was HORRIBLE   eeek it took 4 hrs for the effects to go away.  The other one is called a Health Potion and it's gray.  This reduces hunger, so if you sim is traveling they can do the trick for a while.

Simka was able to sell her third book to a publisher after reaching level five.

Selling to the publisher earns more daily royalties

Simka caught some nice crates that go nicely in the kitchen area.

Burning the candle at both ends is not a wise thing to do.  Sleep

Simka did a little re-arranging of her lot.

UPADATE:

The daily royalties are gradually increasing, which is a good thing.

Simka decided to see what the fishing was like over in the ritzy neighborhood.  She didn't do to bad

She also nabbed this little guy.  He's perfect for her garden!

Simka has been watching the cooking channel and learning some new recipes, and surprisingly new tricks too.  eeek She's scaring me.

Yes it does.  But what really threw me for a loop was when she turned her back to the pot of chili she was making and tossed a tomato over her shoulder and into the pot.   Cool

Remnants of Sims 2 and Sims 3  (The Dirty Counter)

That BLT looks tasty   tongue

I was looking for something new and different to add to the world, just to see if it would work.  I was browsing through the gallery and came across this cute little shop.  It's designated as a lounge, but has the cupcake machine in it.  Placed in Willow Creek

Pete's Coffee & Bakeshop by itsneal

Simka went for a visit and to check it out.  Love the menu on the wall

She made Minty  Mocha and you even get the option to sell to local bakery.  They only sold for $5, can't make a living at it. .  . Laughing

For some reason the second batch she made there was no option to sell.

Her outdoor house is looking great and I love that little bakery! After catching up and seeing the sandwich she made, it made me realize just how hungry I am! giggle

Thank you ladies,

Simka's coming along slowly as far as networth.  Not bad for not having a house though  Laughing

One strange thing that I've noticed when I go back into the game is that one or two of her trees will be missing and for some reason they have been put in her household inventory.

Great progress. How odd about the trees.

Simka has taken up painting after she reached level 10 in writing.  I have noticed she doesn't get the rewards that come with the "Job Status"  of the skills.

With painting as her skills increase, she does paint better pictures.  however, she does not get the option to sell to gallery which offers more money.

Simka discovered having gourmet cooking skills, you can still apply the five second rule as she sneaks the dropped meat back into the pan.   Laughing

The goal now is to see how many skills she can master before kicking the bucket (on long lifespan) .  mummy

Very impressive progress. applause Bravo
Very funny with the 5 second rule. I once had a babysitter who had a saying. If food was dropped she would dust it off then hold it up and say "God make dirt so dirt don't hurt."

I noticed the painting thing too. You would think, irl, the better you get the more likely a gallery would be to sell your work.  Levels 1 through 3 you should only be able to sell at the farmers market, or a garage sale. Smile

Laughing The five second rule. My Sim was doing that and was a very messy cook as he must have put the food back 3-4 times after drooping it. I laughed at his guilty looking around to see if anyone else saw what he did.
