It's still bad, the internet, but I'm going to try posting an update before I forget.

So, Demario died and Holiday and the children try to cope without him.
Holiday spends more time with her children. ( The multi tasking in this game is so cool! ) Holiday and autumn play chess while Winter Sings and dances along with the radio.

Demario visits his family too late and this night and everyone is sleeping.

Since Holiday is a mixologist there are always drinks in the fridge. Demario always gets a drink before going to look for someone to chat with.

Autumn does not have the neat trait but while at the park she decided to clean up the dirty dishes. She doesn't do that at home.

Demario arrives earlier this evening and has dinner with his daughter and chats with HOliday while she's preparing tomorrows meals for the kids.

Before Demario left he helped his family out by repairing a broken sink in the kids bathroom. Too bad he didn't repair the leaky shower in the downstairs bathroom. That made a big mess.

Checked on the BFF house to see how Travis Scott and Elise and son are getting along and Liberty Lee.  Liberty had met a Sim she liked and who liked her and she asked Adriel Grover if he would be engaged with her ( before he could get away) and he said yes.

Liberty has collected a few 'Oddities' on her space missions.

I do not know how she can have them in the same room here she sleeps.

The next time Adriel visits Liberty they decide to elope.

The exchange of vows ...
And they are married.

They ah, celebrate their marriage in the spaceship.  More private.

Liberty leaves on a space mission and Adriel is left at the house alone with Travis and Elise's new son.  Without prompting, Adriel picked up the baby to sooth Sullivan when he was crying.

When Liberty heard about this she was very pleased because she wanted children right away since she wasn't getting any younger.
So the next day they decided to find their own place.

They move into their new place just in time.  Adriel greets his son Adrian.

Adriel plays chess with a neighbor who stops by every day. Turns out they had been a 'couple' before Liberty caught his eye.

Adriel had a desire to have a pool.  Then a few days later he had a desire to swim laps in it.

Adrian grows up and it seems like the next day...

...Liberty is introducing Austin to the family.

Then Austin grows up.

Adrian has a mishap  when experimenting.

Liberty tried for a daughter and surprised the family with Anna and Aster.
Liberty went back to flying missions in space but had some trouble on this mission and almost didn't make it back home.  She crashed on landing after making a wrong decision.

The ship is totally destroyed and all feared the worse for Liberty.

Oh, look!  Is that her crawling out of the wreckage?

Whew, that was a close call!  Too close.
Baby Anna grown up and right after her...

Aster grows up.  Hungry.

The children are good students and work hard on their school duties and aspirations.
Aster studying while cooling her feet in her fathers pool.

All my ghosts do is break things.
Except in one household where the ghost had been an Artist.  He visits fairly often and if there is an empty easel he paints and leaves a finished Excellent or Masterpiece quality painting behind.

Very helpful indeed. Whistle

Two of the (many) things that crack me up:

  • Swimming laps in the 1x1 pool.
  • Pregnant Sims 'jogging'.... more like a slow saunter. HappyTrio

Wonderful story.

Love that pool, never thought of putting in a tiny one to fulfill their whims. Great idea!

Maybe ghosts can be helpful when they reached a skill level 10 and died in agood mood?

The father actually had a wish for a 1x1 pool.

Demario is the only ghost, so far. He'd aged up to elder not too long before he died. I was surprised. He still fixes broken things, but usually just one broken thing ( didn't think the house was that old but it seems to be falling apart ) and he'll clean up sometimes. If there was a way to add him back into the family, I would do so. I never wrote his skills down so of course don't remember them.

Do you mean when trying to post an update?
Try opening a notepad to type what you want to say along with the URL of the images. Then just copy /paste from the notepad into your post.

Where's a note pad?
There are 30 sec. hicups. I just got taken back to photobucket again to tell me there is a script error.  Again.  I'm going to have to try to get a hold of my IT guy and see if he can fix it. this is the first part of the message I get
"A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue."  Photo bucket is trying to connect links of pic? I just saw a box to check "don't show me this again".  Maybe that will work.  I can't do any pictures with this problem.

Greg and Sally are born.  A boy and a girl! My game has never done that before.

Guadalupe decides to take a vacation.  He told Sandy about a resort in the woods he heard about.  She said she didn't want  to stay in a tent.  He found a very nice and modern cabin that has 4 bedrooms.  Sandy loved it!

Spacious and great amenities.

It was chaos at first with everyone running around trying to see everything at once.  Guadalupe couldn't decide what  to do first:  play horseshoes, fish, or relax.

In trying to assign activities to all the family members, Donald somehow ended up at a place called Granite Falls.  His 'handler' got lost in the woods and had trouble finding him.  Then she clicked on 'go home' because because she didn't see the 'go back to camp' option. So he went home and the rest of the family stayed at the resort and the 'handler' couldn't get them together again.  Humpty Dumpty was broken so I quit without saving.
( No more hiccups!  Everything seems to be working as it should.)

The Richards family goes on vacation. 2nd try.  this time they were able to get to the door in time to invite the Ranger in and ply him with questions.

Found this while wandering through the woods.

Playing horseshoes.

Guadalupe relaxing.

Sally takes her dinner outside to visit with Samuel who is back to playing horseshoes.

Meanwhile Donald who'd been exploring, needed a bathroom.  Even though the cabin was closer he went looking and found a stone outhouse but didn't want to use it as the flies were so bad.

He took a shower also then went  back to the cabin where he found his mom and dad laying in the yard watching the sky.

The last night of their vacation, Sandy insisted on a family dinner.

Unfortunately even though it was a 4 bedroom cabin, the dinning table only had 4 chairs.

So the family played musical chairs and kept changing places.

Everyone agreed they had a fun time.

Glad the pictures are working now!

LOL at the musical chairs applause

It's irritating that we can't edit the pre-existing builds, isn't it?

Laughing that is is. Probably all for that family for awhile. Wanted to get the pictures posted before I forgot what they were all about.
Had planned on doing the newest save but I'm getting awful freezing and it's way too annoying to continue.

Try deleting the stuff in the scratch file.
\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves\scratch
Also look in the Sims 4 folder and delete any files called last exception
I have a special Trash folder (Not recycle bin) that I move files to before deleting.
If I move the wrong thing I can get it back.
And I also Refresh my game from time to time.
I copy my Saves folder (or the whole Sims 4 folder) before I start.
Resetting the game to factory settings without reinstalling

Another thing I have been doing is a bit hard to explain.
I figured out a way to separate my different saves by using the time stamps.
The image below an example:
This is the same household that I saved at two different points.
The one outlined in black is one you would NOT want to move or delete.
All the files showing 04/17/15 7:02pm can be moved out of the save file and will not kill your game.
The 04/18/15 7:19am is the last time this household/game was played.

At one point I kept all my different households/saves in the same folder. Saving them outside the game folder seems to help.
I just create folders for each save and copy the saves and related screenshots to that folder.

Oh my. Thanks. I may try some of of those things.
The hesitating or freezing I'm experiencing in not in the game but when I visit this site. I noticed that when I post or send a post there are a Lot of read, transferring data, waiting to read, waiting for pix, I even saw a read ill web.com( which I assume ill is Ill)? Anyway at one point I counted 17+ different places? (down at the bottom left) that the action of posting or moving between reads is going through. When I'm typing it just isn't smooth but very jerky and slow to show typed words. Not sure if there is anything I can do about it. I will defrag and see if that helps.

Olie Sirat a newcomer, moved in with Blake DeLuca who has a huge house named Oakenstead.
In touring the property he saw empty plant boxes and immediately started a garden.

Olie spent the evening getting to know his roommate Blake DeLuca.  They got along quite well but Olie would occasionally freak out that he'd seen a ghost.

Here Olie realizes he's making friends with a ghost.

Olie and Blake building their friendship over a good meal.

Olie tries fishing.  He liked it.

Those are some pretty interesting fish in those waters.  Be careful what you catch, Olie.

Olie caught something.  I'm afraid to look.

Olie goes to the park to meet people and practice chess so he skills up in logic which he assumes he will need for becoming a doctor.

Sandy Beaches chats with the chess players but they don't pay her much attention.  She gets miffed and asks them 'Do you smell that?"

Olie and his new acquaintance relax after their game. Cloud gazing seems to be a National past time for Sims.

Blake wanted to spend 5000 in landscaping the yard.  Since it was his money, Olie didn't feel he should interfere.  anyway, he liked all the fountains and the topiary animals.

Blake surprised Olie when he invited Spades Klondike to move in. A little matchmaking going on here?  Blake is a ghost but he won't be around forever.
Olie and Spades enjoy fishing together.

Olie showing off his muscle to Spades.  She was duly impressed.

Olie finally felt ready and joined the Science career.
