This is a partical list of things not to do because they could corrupt your save.

Just thought I'd throw this in here.....thought it was amusing.

Have been reading parts of that, and this worries me a bit. I use mods though, that may be different. I haven't had any reports about corruption, but would I get any?

Quote :
13. reported by Writin_Reg: leaving testingcheats enabled true and buydebug on running all the time will corrupt the game, ever since the IP patch or IP game was installed -- once the world is corrupt, not even lots in that world can be reused in other worlds without causing further corruption to spread

The first thing I do when I start playing is turn TCE on and I leave it on all the time. Hmmmm. I use things where I need it to be on throughout when I am playing. So far, I don't think it has done any harm.

Off to read this! Thanks for the link - Very useful information.

I haven't had any issues when leaving TCE on either?? First time I've ever heard of that causing an issue....

Haha... Master Controller has an option to auto-turn that cheat on (and leave it on). I usually curse when I discover I *don't* have it on! haha

hmm  Actually... Now I'm thinking it is overwatch, not master controller.  I will verify next time I'm in game.

EDIT: Just checked. It's NRASS Overwatch that has the option to automatically turn on TCE. Overwatch-->Settings-->TCE-->True

I use TCE quite a bit too, Daisy. I read on the Officials, I think Zoo Professor said something like "TCE is your friend" and it was OK to leave it on. I don't start playing with it on but eventually if I want to get anything accomplished during Sim play I'll need to use it. It saves so much time to up their needs so they aren't constantly using a bathroom, eating, & sleeping. They're like dogs sometimes.  Smile
